The album this song is from was nominated for a Grammy. It didn't win, but that's OK because it's awesome anyways. A lot of the winners were mediocre at best anyways and only won because such is acceptable in the US as long as it's in English, IMO.
Jane was a contestant in the Mainland Chinese singing contest "Supergirl." She didn't win, but you don't need to win the singing contest if you're good. She has appeared on
Oprah, with Simon Cowell as a special guest, but that doesn't mean anything for the availability of her albums in American stores, which is really a shame. (It's also a shame that Oprah has to tell people that the world has talent because no one seems to know that...)
