Testing 123
So Windows lost part of itself on my computer without any real explanation and I'm back. I have the same computer but re-installed Windows. I've also installed a new anti-virus but didn't find anything that would explain my computer's issues. I'm currently using CA, which I don't really like. I'm used to Norton, but CA comes for free for Road Runner (cable) users, so I'm trying it. There are some oddities, of course: Hotmail didn't want to load at first and Mediafire wouldn't let me log in the regular way. I also can't get onto certain accounts. I had trouble getting onto my YouTube account. I have trouble downloading things and have to rename everything using WinRAR because everything will come up as EFW files that I can't open unless I download it through MegaUpload for some reason. (This is, apparently, my anti-virus's way of telling me not to download stuff.) CA's firewall has been the source of endless headaches.
Now that I have installed my language packs and everything, I'm testing things out, finding out why some MP3s won't play. (Regional Language Settings are important when using programs that don't use Unicode.)
Here's a test upload. This is alan's Japanese version of "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from a Japanese album "Disney Dream Pop." The first time I uploaded it, my firewall wouldn't let Mediafire verify it, so you can probably understand why I'm testing this in the first place. (I really didn't want to upload 100 megabytes of a Jay Chou concert and have this happen.) Here's the song, though. It's the best song on the album, IMO, and the only reason I searched for any part of the album, really. Alan's vocals in it sound really good and it has more of an Asian folkish sound than I was expecting from a Cinderella song.
I also want to try embedding something in a post, since I've had trouble with some firewalls keeping code windows from coming up. Cindy's "Stupid Fish" MV is out. I like this song because it's kind of rockish and I like the lyrics. (She's talking about a guy who uses sweet words and thinks she's like a stupid fish who will just bite his hook.)
