<= Jay is drinking himself, LOL!
I uploaded some Spanish music today. (Which explains the title, since I mostly listen to Chinese even though Chinese is only my third language and I'm American.) It's from a popular band from Mexico, Maná. Their style is pop rock, but there's also a lot of Latin American influence in their songs. I picked up one of their CDs in Borders (book store, I have a card for Borders because I go to bookstores in general so often) because I liked their songs and a lot of people I know also like them. It's also really easy to buy their songs as MP3s in the US. This is their album from 2002, which has upbeat love songs, songs about freedom and faith, and even a heart-wrenching ballad about a man who tries to migrate to the US illegally:
"Revolution of Love" 1. "Justicia, tierra y libertad" ("Justice, Land, and Liberty") ft. Carlos Santana*
2. "Ay, doctor" (Self-explanatory, IMO)
3. "Fe" ("Faith")
4. "Sábanas frías" ("Cold Savannas") ft. Rubén Blades
5. "Pobre Juan" ("Poor John")
6. "¿Por qué te vas?" ("Why are you leaving?")
7. "Mariposa traicionera"
8. "Sin tu cariño" ("Without Your Love")
9. "Eres mi religión" ("You Are My Religion")
10. "No voy a ser tu esclavo" ("I'm Not Going to Be Your Slave")
11. "Ángel de amor" ("Angel of Love")
12. "Nada que perder" ("Nothing to Lose") ft. Asdrubal Sierra
* In case anyone isn't familiar with the name, Santana is the guitar player known for songs such as "Smooth" with Rob Thomas, "The Game of Love" with Michelle Branch, and "Into the Night" with Nickleback's Chad Kroeger. Needless to say, he's very well-known.
