Raptors, yes, but owls aren't that closely related to hawks or falcons.

Even if they were, I don't think Pokémon are similar. It looks like she did it with her foot.

Because from what I've seen people mentioning, they can breed with different species, which could never happen at home.

Because it isn't real. But they're still very clearly based on actual animals. Which does count as a relation in my book.

I have heard of professors living in this world, but if they're like the rest of the natives, I sincerely doubt they'll be of much help.

I can't think that'd be an easy undertaking for a visitor. Wouldn't have any of the normal scientific paraphernalia. CAT scans and x-rays and the like. Would just be limited to sitting and watching, perhaps writing things down.
