So here I am in Beloit, WI. It took me a while to find the ethernet port, it was hidden under my roommate's bed... But now I'm online :-). And it's pretty hot up here too. Intense Japanese starts tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.

Not much else to report. I have to go to an orientation-type meeting soon. So that's the update!

I'm in Beloit for 5 weeks doing an intensive Japanese study program. It's an immersional kind of thing - we're supposed to talk our language most of the day, including at meals and so on. I already have my first quiz Tuesday, on 145 Kanji! (we're supposed to know them already, but it's still gonna be hard)
