The last couple days have been eventful. Yesterday my neck started to swell and hurt something fierce, which is to be expected when you've been stabbed 6 times.  I finally couldn't put up with it anymore and went in to the E.R. this morning. The roads were much clearer than I expected and now I have oxycodone instead of just regular Tylenol. It is such a relief after not sleeping that I slept all day! So yay for stronger pain medication.  The bad news is that my endocrinologist called and is pretty sure that it is cancer in my thyroid so I have to schedule surgery soon.  It's nothing major, but it's not exactly my favorite way to spend my time and I am really tired of being in constant pain. They better give me oxycontin is all I'm saying. That stuff is miraculous. Also, not excited to be living off of hormones in pill form, but what can ya do?  I am joining the rest of the masses in having some form of medication.
*shrugs* Oh well, I guess I'll have a fun scar so now I get to come up with stories.  Maybe I'll say I got it from a knife fight with a kangaroo. That's pretty neat.
