End of an era
Today, Thursday 30 December 2010, the final roll of Kodachrome was processed. I am sad to see such a wonderful film being retired, to be replaced by digital photography. My Bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in Photographic Process and Control Management is truly now obsolete.
I am so glad that Dr Ira Current is no longer here to witness this.
BTW:In December 2010, Standard & Poor's removed Kodak from its S&P 500 index.
