Thou Shalt Not Be Prideful
Today was kind of stressful at work. Despite my boss not being there.... we were down two writers. That meant Kevin and I had to write the entire newscast. I took the top of the hour (which is seven minutes long) and he did the bottom of the hour (which is 5) and we made it out alive. I had no problems and I just breezed through it all. I think when something like that happens I have some extra energy and creativity and so things come easier to me. It was pretty sweet. Afterwards... Marc said I kicked ass today. I just brushed it off and said there wasn't a lot of new stuff and they were pretty simple stories. I just can't take a compliment. Where's my pride? Where is my 'hell yeah I did!'? Sigh... I need to work on that... how... I don't know... hanging out with Francesca on Saturday... no plans tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
