I am betting because she didn't want a reset and that she wanted to publish ALL custom mechanics.

Based on who they announcement came from I suspect she was fired.

None of this is fact merely my guess.

And I'm not fond that our new MST was summarily plucked from the group as oppossed to having a say in the matter....

MSTs are appointed by White Wolf. No one outside of them really has a say in the matter.
