university is not for everyone.
well. I went to uni fair today. And since i've so much to talk about, i'm going to write it all today, instead of the super note and save it for tomorrow. Anyways. Here it goes.
I went to the fair with Yoyo, mom and kat. I checked out only: University of Toronto, Waterloo, and Western. We then left to the skywalk and saw University of Alberta. After talking for a few moments, we left. This is what i have discussed and decided by the end of the fair.
University of Toronto:
The only reason why i want to go there, is due to the condo my mom has downtown. This will cut rooming expenses. If i do go in though, the only programs i will go into is either engineering science, which will go into nanotech or pharmacy. Otherwise, forget it. This will be my number two preference for Ontario.
Waterloo:
I want to do Waterloo for the co-op program, but i will only go into Waterloo if i get accepted into the nanotech engineering. This requires a 90 average. The problem is... It's too close to home. This is my first preference for Ontario.
Western:
Well, i've always considered business, so why not look into it? Anyways. Yeah. Western is my last preference for Ontario. It's a party school. :)
University of Alberta:
Ever since auntie yoyo's been telling me about the pharmacy program there, i've considered it. Only until today, i found out that they have a large research facility right beside them for nanotech. I kept talking to them about it and i found out that it indeed is beneficial. This is my first choice of university. Plus it's far from home.
Then, Yoyo tells me that i should go to University of British Columbia. Why? It's far from home and more recognized. But the problem was i don't know what i'll go into there. So we decided to talk about it at home where we can find more information.
So we went shopping, and i get new dressshirts, shirts, and pants. My sister gets a new iPod touch... From Yoyo. Even though i am completely against it. Yeah. I got some nice shirts. I guess i'll wear it to semi or prom.
It was my dad's birthday. So we bought him Rock Band Beatles but he didn't want it... What the hell. We had dinner with Rita and Eric, and the kids, Popo, Yoyo and my family. It was fun. Had some curry crab. So good.
Got home, and i talked with Eric Fong, since Cindy came over to see Yoyo. He's in the Chartered Accounting program at Waterloo. He talked to me about Universities and which i want to go to.
Later on they left. Then i spent another two hours with Yoyo on the Universities. My conclusion now...
For Ontario. Apply to University of Toronto for pharmacy or nanotechnology. Apply for nanotechnology at Waterloo. Apply for business at western. Apply to University of British Columbia for Pharmacy. My first choice is UBC. Why not University of Alberta? Because it's not known, and it doesn't have the degree. Why Pharmacy? Because there is no nanotechnology in there. Sucks. UBC is going to be fun. Can't wait!
Yeah, in order to get into these schools. I need to start shaping up. Start working. I feel like i can do good though. I know it.
You know what i'm going to do the moment i get to University? I will remodel my Desktop. Why? It's 4 years old and i'm going to be gaming again. I'll make it amazing. :)
Remedies came in. I shall start the treatment now. In two weeks, i should change.
Yeah. I've been up for let's see.... 18 hours so far. I'm dying. I have church tomorrow. Maybe i'll sit with Rachel and sleep like her. She does it. :)
Anyways. Yeah. That's what i've decided so far. I'm getting super prepared for university. Thanks Yoyo! She's leaving early tomorrow morning. She was a lot of help this weekend. :)
She.ll pay for me to go to Serena's graduation. Haha. Fun.
Kay. Eyes are starting to burn. Time to watch the inside of my eyelids! Night.
