Got in a nice long jog this morning. Desk is clear. Paperwork is done, and no, I didn't hide or or burn it or anything. I'm out of the office early.

[Guess who's been out enjoying the day? She has an armful of new clothes, some chocolates, some food and a nice bottle of wine and she frowns when she hears he's off early. She wanted to surprise him by actually managing to cook a nice dinner.

But she detours towards the police station anyway, they can celebrate walking home together, then.]

[And the smile on his face when he sees her heading his way is a sign that he's counting that as another thing to celebrate.]

[She waves and hastens her steps. A little difficult with all her bags, but she manages it and hey, that's a victory!]

[And with that she slides up next to him.]

[And her settling in close to him is a very sweet victory. Grinning, he leans in to give her a hello kiss, but instead of it being a quick peck, it grows pretty hot and heavy without him even realizing it.]

[And Mara, for one, doesn't seem to care or notice back... until she almost drops her bags. Giggling, she pulls away enough to juggle them into one arm so she can kiss him again, celebrating that little victory.]

[Oh, he's liking this day more and more. Without looking, he's reaching to help her balance her packages as he keeps kissing her.]

[She's even happier about that as she winds her free arm around him, pulling him closer. Although at this point they may have picked up a few audience members.]
