Before I die...
I saw there is a community for posting lists what you'd like to do before you die. I think joining that community would get real old real quick, but it works as a meme... my list is real short. If you know me, you may already know it:
1. Before I die I intend to find a way not to die.
Seriously. Don't take your life for granted, and don't take your death for granted either. We don't have to die. We die because evolution never had a reason to engineer us not to die. If you care about your life, do something about it. If you can help the progress of science or medicine, fantastic. Become a scientist or doctor if you can. Support research. Promote awareness. We can find a cure to cancer, to Alzheimer's... to everything that limits us from being who and how we want to be. We shouldn't accept life as it is: reject any religion that tells you otherwise.
If you're not willing to fight for your life, you don't deserve it.
