A flying post
I owe part 2 of a fic, and hellos to everyone, and I'll get to it.
Thought I was getting the flu two weeks ago, and after 5 days, when my temp hit 103.6 (yes, that high!) I let someone drag me to a doctor. After she ruled out West Nile (almost had a heart-attack when she mentioned that one), the doc figured out I had committed the stupidity of getting both a complete sinus infection AND a major ear infection.
I am on good drugs. Very good drugs. For the last eight days. Unfortunately, all I seem to do is sleep, wake up for a few hours to do some work long-distace, and then go back to sleep. It could be worse -- she wanted to hospitalize me. I drew the line at that.
I'm being weaned off the nice drugs, and so I will probably pop back up round Monday (assuming i can stay awake for more than a couple of hours!).
The only good thing about this is that i jump-started my diet. On the other hand, this probably wasn't the smartest way to lost 10 pounds.
