The good, the sad and the weird...

The good: Due to some extra staff being present at work last night, I got to go home early. In my excitement over such a thing, I ended up going a little faster than I should have. Fortunately the friendly man with the flashing lights on top of his car advised me that it'd be in my best interests to heed the speed limit. No paperwork was issued, and I went home grateful. To top it off, I finally got my new modem/router working. Now I can use the PS3 to surf the net...woohoo! Granted I had to call tech support for the thing, as I had done enough cursing and swearing to violate a sailor's ears, but it was worth it in the end.

The sad: Peter Boyle died. I never was such a fan that I saw all of his work, but what I saw him in I liked. I'll have to watch Young Frankenstein now. I think I also sprained a part of my foot. I'm not sure if it was due to crawling around under the computer desk last night or what the deal was, but it's only the outside edge of the foot that hurts. Ugh. I also had a friend ask if I was in the baptism pics or not. Had I changed so much she didn't recognize me? Scary thought.

The weird: new drink to try, a shot of ginger ale with a chocolate milk chaser. No, I'm not high. No, I'm not pregnant (physical impossibility there). No, I'm not drunk. I just saw the two sitting side-by-side in the fridge and had a chocolate-and-peanut butter inspiration. Try it. You'll like it.
