Rant on
So on my way into work today i happend to follow a car with bumper stickers on it. Being as i am in traffic i read them. The first two that jumped out and should have told me to stop reading were bush 00 and bush 04 stickers. Then my eyes wander to a big sticker that said. "Christians not muslim. Love not hate" ok so that pissed me off right there. real angry.
As i have said in the place of ranting before that i am a Christian. This right here is why so many non-christians think we are a bunch of bible thumping closed minded jack asses. the level of intolerance was just dripping with hate.
That is not what made me the most angry. We have yet two more to go. The next oh so loving as a chirstian should be sticker on the shrews car said simply. "Wicca is Wicked" and had a crosed out circle with a penticle in it. Yay for more intolerence.
Here is the kicker that ust made me want to flag her down and start yelling at her (which in itself is not the right attitude to have and i am aware of that) was this on one side it said "Dear God why to you let so much viloence in schools happen." signed a concerend soul. on the other half it said "dear concerned soul, Becausei am not allowed in schools" God.
Ok look the reason prayer was taken out of school is we have a speration of Church and State it is a vital part of out freedoms so as to not tell some one else who or what to worship. This woman had two sticker saying how bad other religons are but yet she wants prayer in school. What gives her the right to tell some Muslim kid that her prayer doesn't count or a wiccain child that he or she is wicked and evil.
This right here is why so many look down on us as a Faith. She does not show the Christ like ways i was taught. Aceptance and Love is what we are supose to teach not hate and intolerance. So i followered her a little ways more as we were headed the same way...i see one more sticker on the bottom rigt of her very full bumper. "Member First Baptist Assc."
