Wonderful! Particularly at "and take the three of them - Coward, the doctor, and the corpse that sprawled on the carpet plain to see - take all three of them straight to hell./Coward didn’t mind./After all, Henry would be waiting there."

My favourite thing about this fic is the detail about the hands. I bloody ADORE seeing Coward all righteously vengeful and lost and throwing everything away in the wake of Blackwood's death.

...all you need to do is to plan nothing.

Woa! What a marvellous line. Of course it makes sense in relation to Holmes and you can really see Coward's mindset, totally hollow, where planning *is* unnecessary.

There's something really cathartic reading about Coward letting the world burn like that. Thanks!
