Last night I was thinking about the pros and cons of having children vs. having dogs. Also, I was thinking about how I don't understand the origin of "pros and cons." Oh well.
THE FACTS:
(+1)Children live longer than dogs in human years.
(+1)Dogs live longer than children in dog years.
(-1)Children cost more.
(+1)Children smell good after baths.
(-1)Dogs smell bad after baths.
(+1)Dogs take fewer baths.
(-1)Children are able to make a larger variety of messes.
(+1)Dogs pee outside most of their lives.
(-1)Children pee inside all of their lives, unless you're awesome.
(-2)Children require clothes, which are expensive and have to be washed, requiring more money.
(+1)Dogs wear two collars their entire lives.
(+1)Children don't chew through their clothes.
(+1)Dogs look forward to their meals every day despite it being the same.
(-1)Children learn to complain.
(-1)Children go to school all day ages 5-18.
(+1)Dogs stay home for quick playtime accessibility.
(+1)It isn't creepy for dogs to sleep with you their entire lives.
(+1)Dogs are warmer than children.
(+1)Dogs have soft fur.
(+1)Children have beautiful eyes.
(+1)Dogs never ask you why you are crying into their fur.
(+1)Children can read!
(+1)Both are cute when excited.
(+1)It is easy to have many dogs without any of them being neglected.
(+1)Dogs don't call DFACS on you for no good reason. (Given a good reason...watch out)
