Work has been unbearably boring this week. The winter has just started and people are settling into their snow throwers and it’s too early for customers to start thinking about tillers or lawn mowers. It’s these boring, slow days that I hate the most. These are the days of meetings, of forthcoming changes, and of new policies. These are the days that you get audited and bitched at by your bored supervisor who has nothing better to do than to place you under a microscope and scrutinize. These are the days that your supervisor spends a little too much time by your desk cracking jokes you don’t get and make absolutely no sense, but you have to sit there giving your phony laugh for fear of further scrutinizing. Yeah, these days are slow, but somehow upper management manages to keep a small cloud of stress dangling over our heads. It’s probably what the meetings are all about.
Nothing new to report on the home front…let’s see…Still working…Mother’s annoying as usual….Schmed keeps supporting his ex as she lives with another man…cosmo mixer is ready to go. Speaking of cosmo mixers…I have discovered that the Daily’s Cosmopolitan mixer is really excellent. I have spent countless hundreds on different mixers, even going so far as to order some from the internet, but I broke down and tried the Daily’s and was amazingly surprised. It’s cheaper, easy to get, and it makes the closest representation to a real cosmo than any other mixer. I’m loving it! (I was on an appletini kick there for a while, being fall and the holidays, but I’m back to my old ways.)
Let’s see what else…I didn’t get around to making new music over the weekend, because I wanted to listen to new CDs instead. Speaking of new CDs, here’s the latest round up:
