My grandma's house was sold and the checks came in yesterday. Well, all hell broke loose. My drunken uncle Joe and my crackhead uncle Sonny went completely NUTS. They have been staying in hotels, well, my uncle Joe was thrown out of the hotel. He was also thrown out of a bar as he got loaded on doubles and triples of whiskey. My crackhead uncle Sonny visited my uncle Mike in Salt Fork completely pig drunk and said that my aunt was responsible for my grandma's death, and that no one cares about him, because we aren't begging to take him in. He also said he was coming here to murder, yes murder my parents. My mom and I were on eggshells the entire night. Good thing I've been practicing with the BB gun.
In spite of all of this, I made my chili from scratch for tomorrow's big chili cookoff at work. I used all fresh ingredients, except my jar of beans. I used pork shoulder instead of ground beef and I think it's made all the difference. I can't wait to see how it does tomorrow.
Tomorrow after work, I'm going to work on musical projects. I'm getting excited about working some more on my ambient CD. I have an idea about using Catholic chanters in a different sort of way. I hope it works out.
