Silencing Christians And Forum Quotes!
There is a new program on INSP and website called, Silencing Christians. It is a program by Christians concerning how they want to end hate crime laws. Yes, you heard that right, they want to abolish hate crime laws, because they feel that hate crime laws discriminates them. Most of the hour program was devoted to their views on the "homosexual agenda". It made mention of how they feel that children should not be exposed to "men kissing men". These Christians feel that their right to free speech is being taken away from them by civil rights groups.
The Christians are being silenced. It wasn't like the gays were ever silenced or anything like that. No, gays were free to prance around without ever feeling discriminated against by Christians.

What's sad is that the forums are kept squeaky clean, with no postings of a differing viewpoint. It seems that Christians aren't willing to sit down and talk. It IS hate pure and simple. We sit here and talk about Muslims wanting to destroy other's who don't believe like them, well, I feel that Christians can be the same exact way. There is no tolerance whatsoever. It seems that to unsilence the Christians means to silence another group. There is no medium. For the first time ever, gays are getting their due. We have been silenced by Christians for centuries and when we start having leaders who are ready to stand up for us, we have the Christian backlash.
Frankly, the Christian religion is old. It needs to evolve. It needs a showering of spirituality, instead of the tight-fisted religion that we have seen. Christians need a sense of oneness with God. Once they feel that real closeness with God, I believe that they will be more tolerant. It will be enough for them. I truly believe that when you experience real spirituality, you start trusting others enough to allow them to make their own decisions concerning their lives. There is balance.
It seems that Christians have forgotten how to be spiritual. Instead, it has become political. Politics is the new Christianity. Gone are the days of loving your neighbor, and that is incredibly sad.
