Sunday, Bloody Sunday

Time to close the weekend with another journal update. I just got back from seeing the Simpson's Movie with Chris about an hour ago. I really need to stop binging on junk food every time we snark a movie together, it just isn't good for me. Chris has a metabolism like a speeding porche and my metabolism is like a station wagon on stone blocks. But I did enjoy the movie, it was good for a laugh. I figured that seeing as I've been watching the Simpsons for the past fifteen years I might as well go see the final episode.

I heard that he and Jackie are moving our from their respective homes and are getting a place in Parramatta. I'm invited to their housewarming party once they find a suitable place. I'm happy for them, they make such a nice couple.

Oh, I rented Pan's Labyrinth from blockbuster on Saturday and watched it late at night. It was such a beautiful movie, so sad and yet so visually appealing. The ending nearly made me cry.

I haven't been able to do any writing since I got Ninja because he gets cranky when my attention turns away from him for long periods of time. He tries to sit on the keyboard and sit on my notebook to stop me from writing. I'm on hold in that area until I can get the little sweetie to accept my scribbling habit. It's a shame though, because I really was in the mood for writing romance tonight.

Oh, that epic pokemon battle from earlier in this week? I won it just barely. Matt's Staraptor was mowing through my pokemon and eating at their HP with that damned Fly move, and his Empolen's drill peck move just about wiped out my Torterra in one fell swoop. It was pretty risky for a while but then I brought out my Garchomp with his Dig ability and Rampardos with his HP absorbing tendency and the tides turned in my favor. I won against Matty with three wounded pokemon to spare.

After that Matty bought me a Phantasy Star Universe subscription like the dear sweet soul that he is. Thanks again, Matty. I feel like playing it again now that Matthew can play with me too.

Another week of work tomorrow. I don't want to go. I want to stay home and keep my little Ninja company. On top of that I'm getting progress tested at the gym tomorrow. I know that I have made no progress at all. It's going to be so embarassing...
