FIRE!
I'm so exhausted. I went into Penrith today to have all my work evaluated and they changed my program to something else that offers about the same benefits with twice the work involved. I have another appointment on Friday so that the finer details of the program can be discussed.
I also spent a bit of money today. The six hundred bucks I had in my bank account has dropped to three hundred in less than three weeks. I also owe my parents the rent tomorrow, and I'm buying those concert tickets too. I bought Soul Calibur III for thirty bucks and impulse bought Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life because it was there and I haven't played a Harvest Moon game for ages.
When I got home there was a severe bushfire warning going out through my suburb. Seriously, I went outside at about four in the afternoon and it was raining. Not water, but blackened leaves burned by the fires. Everything was covered in a haze of smoke and every spot of the sky was deep, dark grey. The firebreaks did a good job at keeping the bushfire from crossing the Emu Plains into the valley basin, but I still went out there with my parents and doused the house with water to keep it from being flammable. It was such a horrible, guilty waste of water...
As far as I know I have nothing scheduled for tomorrow. I might try and take the whole day off for some writing, or I could finish the rest of Dark Tower VII.
