Hee...
I got to see Chris today. God, it's been so long. I never realised how much I missed him until recently. Well, I had an excellent day. The best one in months. I got to play Suikoden Tactics and see just how bloody difficult it really is. I recognised some of the characters from Suikoden IV in it, like Axel and Kika and such, but there were some new faces too. It looks interesting. Once Chris is finished with it I hope he'll let me borrow it.
We went and saw Pirates of the Carribean 2 in the evening. It was a great movie, I was laughing and being amused half of the time, but the weird and somewhat nonsensical ending kind of lowered the quality for me. But hell, it had octopus captains, swordfighting and cannibalism, humiliation and near openly gay pirates. I give it four stars out of five.
After the movie we came home, had dinner and played games and watched anime for hours on end. I made him watch a few episodes of Gravitation because I am evil like that, and also because I agreed to watch Gundam Seed with him later, and I have never really been a fan of the Gundam series. An eye for an eye, as they say.
I also figured that instead of complaining over the fact that I know nothing about working the RPG Maker, I'd try and figure it out for myself. I'd practice and tinker until I got it right. That's how all inventors make their discoveries, after all. I made... a little bit of progress this morning. I figured out how to add limit breaks into the game. That's pretty cool right there. Now, what limits would BW and her party use...? Any ideas?
I'm up to 3k words on the next Turned On chapter. I'm kind of not sure how I want this chapter to turn out, so I'm witholding on it for a little while. The first half was incredibly violent, but I don't wanna immediately cut to a peaceful scene after that. It seems too sudden for that. However, writing meaningless slabs of description on stuff that isn't important is dumb. (Please don't point out that I do it half the time anyway. I am well aware of that... ;_;)
I've enjoyed being with people that aren't my family today. It felt so good.
