Maple Syrup Story... Mmm...
This is the small party I've been playing in Maple Story for the past month or so, maybe a little longer. My character is the guy and Matty's character is the girl. We swapped genders, isn't that weird? But both characters are still grinning like idiots. The pink bunny is a new pet I got today, Plot the bunny. Ha hah, dumb joke. Warren has a pet rabbit. Another dumb joke. No wonder she kind of looks like she wants to be somewhere else.
I can't recall much of what I did today. I was pretty lazy, and also quite distraught that my faithful earphones stopped working, so now I can't listen to music anymore. How am I meant to write without my beautiful Hawkwind CDs? And I can't afford to get some new ones, at least some good quality ones...
I'm scanning a new comic to add to my comic scrapbook collection. It's overdue to be brought back to the Penrith council library so I might as well milk it for all its worth. I'll have a huge archive someday. The comic is the first book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, because I love that book so much.
As of now I'm halfway through Burning for Revenge. As the title illustrates its payback time. It's amazing how good this book is, how real. How close they are all coming to no longer caring about anything, about their own lives, or the lives of the people they kill. To win the war and save their land they're now willing to trade their lives. Wow...
I hope people liked that last Turned On chapter I wrote. It was longer than it was supposed to be, but on trying to figure out how to end it a second idea came to me and I just had to add that little ending scene to it. I'm kind of ashamed to say that I was up until 2AM finishing it off, because I was afraid I'd lose my train of thought if I went to sleep.
People asked for fluff in that fic and I will get to it eventually, but angst has to come first. Chaz has to earn the right to be happy, which means I get to poke and prod him with the cruel giant pen of the author for a little while longer. The next chapter will feature a cold, sad place, because I'm so meeeean...
