Life's INEVITIBILITY

I just completely depressed myself...the horror of existence officially came crashing down just moments ago.

One of our employees came in to talk to the boss about refinancing his home. My boss buys real-estate properties and so is familiar in this area.
Anyway...they talked...BLAH BLAH BLAH...and I came to this line of logic...

You (insert you the reader here)...buy a house with a mortgage.
You then spend the next thirty years paying off said house.
So, when you're ready to die, the house is paid off.
Then the house passes to your children/inheritors.
BUT... 30 years have gone by...
Is the neighborhood still a safe place to live? Has it gotten rougher?
Then your the next generation has a property they may or may not want...
So let's say they sell it and use the money for their OWN house.
Okay, but housing prices have gone up...
AND they're going to have a mortgage, and property to pass on to their heirs...

It's like we spend tons and $$$ tons of money to hold on to the wind. And in the end...it becomes dust.
