'tis almost Christmas...
Christmas is in...let's see...five days. Or at least, Christmas Eve is in five days, and since that's when I open my gifts, so I count it as Christmas.
I keep forgetting all the things I have to do before that day, so I shall type them here, because I check livejournal every day.
Ok, I basically need to paint a huge load of rocks. One for my grandpa and his girlfriend (who are coming Christmas Eve)and then ALL of my dad's immediate family (mother, father, sister, brother/sister-in-law-/their kid) are coming Christmas day. Yeah. And I need to paint something for all of them.
Plus, I have to write a short story for that contest, and do this HUGE history project which I keep putting off/forgetting about.
Oh, yeah, and I need to buy a gift for my brother and dad, and paint a rock for my mom, and for Mike, and buy something for Jenna, and finish Holly's gift, and try to decide what exactly to do for Wes.
Christmas is kinda....stressful. I'm looking forward to normal-ness again. Pretty much all the magic that Christmas had when I was a kid has faded away. It's quite sad. But...what can you do? Life does that. Most of the magic and wonder that I was able to live in when I was younger is denied to me now.
*sigh*.
