waiting for the terror to arrive
the panic has not set in yet, but im sure it will. probably right around wednesday night. then will come a flurry of work, woe and self pity as i scramble to finish The Paper that has been a year and a half in the making.
good news: russ's dick surgery went well! he only had to have 40 stitches, which i guess is good insomuch as getting any number of stitches in your dick is a good thing.
possible new names for my brothers dick: scartip, frankenweiner
possible new names for his gf's giner: beartrap, toothy, jaws
what i have planned thus far:
sometime in may: road trip with jen to alabama, or georgia, or something like that.
may 17th-18th: cedar point trip!
memorial day: pizza king canoe trip, which never ends badly, ever. (thats a lie, btw.)
june 17th: daves wedding.
june 18th: surviving the worst hangover in human history/dead from alcohol poisoning.
june 27th: seeing nine inch nails. again.
july 3rd-4th: party in tc, bowling, then annual drunken canoe trip down the platt river! be there. seriously.
end of june/early august: annual michigans adventure trip with the golden boys.
i know theres a lot more, i just cant think of anything. if anyone knows of any good concerts or anything, lemme know- i want to attend as many as i can this year, and maybe also go to a music festival. its gonna be tough to do all this while working like 50-60 hours a week at interlochen, but itll be worth it.
am i forgetting something? i feel like im forgetting something.
oh yeah! im going to drive to toronto at one point or another and get lost. and also maybe go to ozzfest.
the picnic was nice as usual. i busted out my once-yearly grilling skills that i reserve solely for jens annual thingie, mostly because shes the only one that lets me play with fire.
mary got a great pic of me squirting lighter fluid into a raging inferno with a manic look of joy on my face, which pretty much sums up my experience in boys scouts right there.
