airborne's almost over with, all i've got left is "jump week"; i think i've got two jumps with a combat load and two without. it's almost disgusting how easy that school is, and there are still people falling out and wanting to quit. i mean, most of them were ROTC and soft skill mos' (if you ask me they shouldn't be allowed to go to airborne in the first place, why the fuck does some pogue need to know how to jump out a plane, all they're doing is wasting spots for infantrymen) but still, that's not the point; you can never quit.
I'm really missing home lately, i'm glad i get leave as soon as i'm done with rip. that's probably been the hardest thing about all this initial training, going so long without seeing the reasons why i enlisted in the first place.
oh yeah, getting my sleeve started on monday, traditional horimono. can't beat it.
