I was kissed on the mouth/cheek area by an older Italian man I JUST met. Like, two minutes after I just started talking to him. His name was Joseph, as I learned, and gave me some advice on losing weight. o_O I'm always open to strangers telling me how to lose weight (it's happened a couple of time before), but I could not understand a word he said. x____x THICK accents are cannot always make heads or tails of, and I hate that I can't because I like knowing what poeple are saying.
I can pick up hitches and pitches, but I can't do shit on accents. It's very disheartening.
Oh, and I only got the kiss 'cause I confessed I was part Italian. A tiny portion, really. No big deal.
