This tied-up rain-delay business is the Philliest thing ever.
So I drove 45 minutes south to watch that fucking game last night. Yes, I realize there are televisions closer, but none of you bastards offered to cook me dinner and watch the game with me. [Well, except for the bastard who did. Thanks. :)] And I got home at 2am and I've had 3 hours of sleep and I AM NOT HAPPY. Well, I'm not happy to be at work anyway.
They should have called the game earlier, like maybe WHEN THEY REALIZED THE RAIN WAS FOGGING THE UMPIRES' GLASSES. Hopefully Florida doesn't demand a recount.
Also, I hear that Tampa is staying in Delaware tonight. I don't know why I find that so funny. Probably because of the three hours sleep thing.

ETA: Looks like Wednesday. (Thanks, nerak_g!) So, the Tampa Bay Rays are stuck in the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington for another night. Ha. I should invite them to poetry tonight, y/n?
