OH hai, lj, I'm actually really busy right now but I had to run over here and share my dorkiness with you.
I just listened (not watched, had the screen minimized) to a youtube of Echo & the Bunnymen's "Lips Like Sugar".
Then I listened to the Smashing Pumpkins covering Lips Like Sugar.
Then I listened to Coldplay covering Lips Like Sugar.
I am now listening to Seal covering Lips Like Sugar.
Pumpkins' was pretty rough. I think the mix was bad and it seemed like they
hadn't practiced it much.
Coldplay's was good, actually. (shut up, slayerscreamer.)
Seal's wins for quirky.
In other Echo news, I will NOT be going to see them this week in NYC. frownyface. It would have been a logistical nightmare involving my friend driving through 4 states and having to be at work at 8 the next morning. Plus, money, as I have to buy Amtrak tickets this week to go home in 2 weeks.
