Attention Delawarians!
I am tickled to announce the impending arrival of freecookiesnow and her husband Aaron to the Small Wonder!
They will be moving to Wilmington (she told me the neighborhood, but I don't remember which one) from Madison, WI so her husband can take a job with the News Journal.
I lj-friended freecookiesnow early on in my lj career after seeing her listed as a user interested in Dansko shoes. She had a Cookie Monster icon and one of the most amusing usernames ever. As it turns out she also happens to be a writer/beader hipster-dork with a fondness for New Wave music and a devastating fashion sense. Also, she's wicked funny We were destined to be lj-friends!
Debra and Aaron will also be bringing Katie the Calico Catbaby and a Future Human Being Baby.
Besides being an administrative assistant and future mom, Debra is a playwright, a novelist, a vegetarian cooking enthusiast and a glass beadmaker. Aaron, besides being a journalist, is a singer-songwriter. (He's probably a bunch of other things as well, but I've never e-met him so I only know those things.)
So say hi to freecookiesnow and Aaron! In the spirit of introducing some new coolsters to our little state (and let's face it, we can use all the coolsters we can get) I'd like all the Delaware residents and frequent (or occasional) vistitors to Delaware to comment here & name something they love about Delaware.
