Gotta get my bi-monthly update in!

So it's been awhile. I don't have too much to tell. These past two months I've worked, gone on a couple of dates, dressed up as a nerd, shopped, eaten Indian for Thanksgiving...all that fun stuff.

Hmmm, work is work. That was a great update, no? Hmmm, I went on some dates with a guy who messaged me on facebook. Turns out he's a little Calvinist. Maybe I'm a snob, but I just can't continue to date someone if I know our religious views clash. I can get pretty passionate when I discuss this stuff and I just can't agree with a Calvinist viewpoint. He is a nice guy though. It just wouldn't have worked out so there isn't a whole lot to say on that.

For Halloween, I dressed up as a nerd. I only had 3D glasses though, but they got the job done. I didn't go to any parties, just dressed up at work. There weren't any trick-or-treaters to our apartment complex, unfortunately. There weren't many kids out in general this year. How sad. I remember being a kid and really looking forward to trick-or-treating. It wasn't just here, though. I've heard a lot of people say they had a disappointing turnout.

For Thanksgiving, I stayed in 'Cuse. Sherry, Beth and I went out for Indian. It was good stuff, but not turkey and all that good grandma food I usually have. Hmmm, went out for Thai with Sherry after work on Saturday. I've spent too much money on going out this week (got more Indian on Friday and yesterday I ate out when I was shopping).

I went Christmas shopping yesterday. Made a decent sized dent on the shopping list. I still have to get a few more people, but I have a pretty good idea on what to get them. The mall also wasn't too hectic. I avoid shopping on Black Friday. It's such a headache. People trample over each other for crying out loud! I don't care how good sales are, it's not worth the hassle and frustration. Kudos to those of you who brave the madness! Despite all of that, I LOVE getting gifts for others. I'm really excited this year to give people their presents. Beth and I came back and hung up the Christmas lights. How fun!!! I am gonna start cutting out snowflakes (I pretty much make awesome snowflakes) soon. Also, sugar cookies!!!!! I have been baking like crazy lately! Beth tells me to stop making them, or at least to not make them so tasty. No prob, I'll make her a batch with no sugar! Mwahahahaha!!! Not really, though. I must admit, I've gotten pretty good at baking and cooking. I think I am gonna try a cake from scratch. I have my cocoa powder ready! I hope that turns out...never made a cake besides the straight-from-the-box recipes.

I still have to buy my tickets for the bus ride home. Ugh, I hate taking the bus. People on there can be kind of shady. Here's hoping for better luck this year! I plan on being home for a whole week. I miss my family a lot. I have recently discovered that my brother and sister are on myspace, so I can keep in touch even better now!

Also, has anyone seen Bender's Big Score yet? I've heard it's decent from some and really good from others. I look forward to seeing it eventually!

Alright, I'm out!! Peace! :p
