What if I just disappeared? No phone to reach me, no place of residence, no way to contact me via internet. No friends, family members, or acquaintances having any idea where I went off to. Sometimes this thought really appeals to me and it is becoming moreso. I'm growing more concerned that I find this option increasingly attractive...

That would be truly, truly sad. I have a friend from High school who I was best friends with from Kindergarten through senior year. Then after that she got married and kind of left. I wasn't able to find a way to get in contact with her. 6 years later, I still really really miss her. I had wanted her to be in my wedding, and had no way to contact her. Don't cut people off, who care about you. And we do! :) *hugs*

I still laugh about how long it took me to figure out the whole "who the heck is Legs??" thing. :)

Awww, I'm sorry! That is really sad and highly unfortunate! I hope you one day find her again! Thanks girl, I appreciate the words of encouragement and the hug.

Haha, I love it when people first hear about my nickname and are so curious as to why I am called Legs.

All I remember from that story is that it involves a dirty, dirty joke.

You'd better not drop out of contact, or so, God help me, I will hunt you down and ...

Take pictures of you and post them online? I dunno, I hadn't gotten that far in my thought process.

It comes from the pick-up line "The word of the day is legs, let's go home and spread the word." I was all about them pick-up lines back in the day! *Reminisces her freshman year* Those were the days....

And not a picture, anything but that! It'll take more than that to stop me, mwahahahahaha!*

*All it takes is my bosomest of buddies to text me saying her feet are muddy, hehe.

That's the one.

I just remember being shocked that such a nice, mild-mannered* girl would have a nickname with such a crass backstory.

Then I got over it. Didn't take long.

*Yes, I typed that with a perfectly straight face. Why do you ask? :op
