Actually, I was only home for Christmas. Well, not too much to tell. I saw my family and that was what made me happiest. It was nice to be able to relax with my family for a few days. I got some nice things for Christmas, but I won't bore you with listing those things. I went home the 23rd (couldn't wait to get off the bus!); my mom and nephew ( Read more... )

YAY For the update! :) Glad you had a good relaxing time with family. That's so essential! I was so glad to get home for Christmas and have that one weekend of relaxation! :) I gotta see that Serenity movie. I keep hearing how good it is. So what jobs have you been applying to? Tell Dave I said hi!!! That's great you've got lots of visitors coming in the next couple weeks, hopefully including me! :) I still have gifts for you all! We'll plan something. Let me know when you have a free week or something. We can plan it ahead of time, like if not near the end of January maybe the beginning of February.

So you guys have talked to Billy? How is he? I haven't talked to him in ages and I hope he's ok. I hope he gets up your way! It'd be good for him to see friends. :)

Keep me updated on your progress with the daily Bible reading. So far, i've read the first 5 days ok! ;) I wish I could do it with a group, and we could discuss stuff as we go. I highlight stuff I have questions about or thoughts about. I am glad to be doing it tho! Talk to you soon!

I just apply to anything that might be in my field, for the most part. My interview is for manager of a Total Tan. I really have no chance at it, especially because they need someone with more reliable transportation than I have, aka their own personal vehicle. I still have to stop by a monitoring place, which I guess pays well and I was told that with my degree I should be able to get a position with them. Here's hoping.

I haven't talked to Billy, but Jake has and it sounds as if he was hoping to get up here sometime.

Thus far, I have read through today so I'm good in that respect. I actually read the first 5 days yesterday because I forgot that I had the Bible. Woops, hehe. It would be cool to do it as a group and really get to thinking about each day's devotions more. And you are more than welcome any weekend that you can get up here! My work schedule is through the 21st of January, so I can always ask off for days ahead of time for any weekend following. Not a prob at all! Talk to ya later!
