Let's do the time warp again!
Well, this past weekend was fun times and it was good to see everyone again (and nice to meet some people with whom I had not been previously acquainted). Friday, I took the bus to Rochester and waited for Mel to get me. That was an adventure in and of itself. I must admit that for a few minutes, I was worried I was about to be abducted by some weirdos. But then I was found by Mel. From there, went to Mel's sisters, then to a scrapbooking party. It was neat to see all the stuff that goes into that. It seems like it would be addicting and a great way to keep one occupied. The next day, we went to look at the local stores. There were so many cute little stores in that area. Also, Vidler's is amazing. They have everything! Including really awesome candy! Hehe...
We decided that it was time to go bother the boys after that. We arrived late afternoon. Just in time for the yummy food! Ken, your party was wonderful! And you won trivial pursuit! I'm glad your closest friends could be there for you and let you know that we will stand by your side! It was also great to see the progress you have made on your train. I had no idea that it was so huge! That's quite the project, that's for sure!
Over Thanksgiving, I went to a co-workers family's house. That was nice. I missed home, but I was not alone and it was nice of my co-worker to drag me along. Hehe. She said that I was stuck going and there was nothing I could do about it! Her family is nice and the food was good. I was kind of quiet because I usually am in those situations.
So anywho, got some more Christmas shopping done and even a good amount of wrapping done today. I just have a few more gifts to wrap and then I am done. My shopping is sooo close to being done. I just have one more person to buy for...still don't know what to get him. He'll be flying in this week though. He's gonna be here (well, at his parents home) for over a month. I guess I can wait and see if there is anything he can that he can use. I also have to send out Christmas cards. I really need to look up the addresses of people so the cards can be properly addressed! I should get them out by next week sometime so that people can get them in plenty of time!
In other news, Chronicles of Narnia comes out this week! I might be able to see it the day before, assuming that the showing is early enough, or I will miss work! That would not be good. I hope it all works out, as this is easily one of my most anticipated films of the year!
Well, I have kept my promise and updated. I'll try to keep this thing updated at least every couple of weeks. Not that there is a whole lot in my life going on. It's pretty boring, really.
