Ok, not really, but I did seem to drop off the face of the earth for about a month and a half. Let's see, what has gone on since I last posted? Well, Becca came to visit and that was good times. I still need to call you Becca! I'm really bad about calling people. Went to Houghton for the frisbee tourney. It was great to see everyone. I'm ( Read more... )

A good fantasy series... light reading, not at all as complex as the LOTR or Narnia though, is the Valdemar Series. Its by the author Mercedes Lackey, and a good one to start with is "To Catch a Thief." She has some AWESOME books.. I've just started to re-read a couple of them (I read them in High school and kind of forgot them in college). Now I'm enjoying them again. :)

oh man, there are SO many good books out there! :) Hey I have another awesome series to reccomend that i'm currently reading right now. It's called the Inheritance series, by Christopher Paolini. The second one, called Eldest, just came out and i'm POURING through it. It's an awesome fantasy series, by a kid that was 15 when he wrote the first one! That was a best seller a few years ago. So check those out sometime! :) Let me know what you think of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! It's SSOOO good, augh ( ... )

Forests are cool, but mountains are better. One of my life goals is to get to the West Coast and see some real mountains.

On a seperate note, Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series is pretty good, especially if you want to have something that will take you like 6 months to get through - he's got eleven books thus far, each roughly the size of the 4th and 5th Harry Potter books, with at least one more to be written. It's Greg-tested and Bill-approved.

Actually, what I meant to say was "Forests are cool, mountains are better, but the beach is where it's at."
