Hola everybody!
I got my ass whopped yesterday at soccer! HURRAY! Heather didn't show up so I got ropped into playing keeper! OH JOY! not. We were playing Ottawa Fury Squad 1 (one of the best teams in Ontario, belongs to the best club in Ontario). So naturally we lost 5-2. It was very surreal. Like I was watching myself get scored on. Apparently the goals weren't "all my fault" seeing as it was only me and two defenders vs five of ottawa's best strikers (in our age category). Three of the shots were one-timers (was only able to save one of those). So at half time I took off my gloves and was like, "Who wants to play keeper because I'm not!" But then our coach convinced me to stay in. At least I assisted both of our goals against the other team (what the hell were the rest of our players doing aka the ones who are supposed to be making plays up front or comming back to defend? Who knows...) My coach/mom told me not to dive because my knee brace is at school and I was wearing my flimsy back-up one so I'll take confort that most of the goals were blasted into the bottom corners. Bummer.
I'm missing out on snow boarding today :(. I'm sick and my knee brace is at school and I don't want to take any chances and risk being unable to do anything for half a year. So I'm at home working on my Civic summatives...BORING! I probably should have started them awhile ago but I do a much better job when its last minute.
