Well, the weekend turned into a sort of 'finish Christmas shopping, do virtuous things like install that bathroom fan' kind of weekend. Thanks to all of you who replied anyway. I did drop in to have lunch with the Colchester furmeet crowd, so at least did something furry.
Anyway, having been virtuous (hay, managed to get that word into an LJ post twice now!) last weekend, I have decided that I will travel to Sheffield for the Northern Furmeet next weekend, 27/28 December. Hotel is booked. Gotta have my furry fix (including fursuiting). I shall probably drive, to avoid the general non-functionality of our railway network while they engineer it! If I want a bus replacement service I'll get the bus, thanks very much. And pay a damn sight less!
So this begs two questions:
1. Anyone I know amongst my furriends going?
2. Providing it doesn't result in a huge detour, anyone want a lift?
