*Whinnies*
Had a great time at the London Fur meet on July 12th, and at the RBW party following. Much fun was had, much 'suiting was done (see below) and a little bit of beer drinking. Great as always to see my furriends- you all know who you are *Horse Hugz*.
Londonfurs- a great bunch of people. Be proud of who we are. Don't keep knocking our collective selves. There are plenty non-furs out there who are very happy to do this for us, born of their ignorant inability to understand something different from the all-pervasive EastEnders/Football/Friday Night Binge/Happy Slapping/Big Brother (the TV show) culture which appears to be suffocating our country. Let's not give them ammunition.
On a happier note, I had a brand new equestrian experience today. For the first time, I drove a horse in harness. Fantastic- communicating through voice and reins alone, and the surge of power when trotting on was exhilarating. I've always fancied driving a four-in-hand (four horses to harness)- to feel that amount of horsepower on tap must be fantastic. I feel I may be doing a lot more driving (horses) in future.
To finish, a photo from the Londonfur meet just past. It's by the very talented
mustan. I think I'll call it 'Don't mess with a stallion!'
See ya later!
