Yeah, I went to the carnival last night (with Jay, of all people) prepared for it so suck about as much as it does every year. I also expected to do my usual thing standing at the bottom of the ride waiting for Jay and his friend Kilei to get off. Then we ran into some other people we knew and next thing you know...I am riding the zipper for the first time in my life...with my X! Well, after surviving that I decided there was only one ride in the carnival that might conceivably be worse(and trust me I AINT goin' near that one) so I might as well try some of the others, which led to the Spin Out. What did we learn from this experience? Well, we learned that once you are moving, if your eyes are closed it is much less scary as you don't know what direction you are facing, or how close the ground is. We also learned one fo the scariest parts of these rides is the fact that you can move around inside of the harness (one of my shoulders as actually slightly bruised) and we learned that when trying something like the Zipper for the first time, since the cars swing independantly of the actual ride, going with Tyson might be a bad idea - find someone a little less psychotic! After surviving the rides we moved on to the games...where I won for the first (and second!) time in my life. I gave Kilei the little stuffed frog I won, then I gave Jay the Wishbear I won. We also learned last night that I am actually not that bad at darts (that's how I won both)
