STUPID FUCKING HOLUALOA CONSTRUCTION!
I really think that I should be able to charge the county to fix my tire. It's not my fault they left a fucking nail in the middle of the road for me to run over and puncture my tire. Why the hell should I have to pay for it? I pay fucking taxes which go to - amoung other things - government infrastructure --- which includes road construction and maintanance. Translation - I have already paid for the right to drive on the road, and by extension, I have the right to not have to worry about whether or not my tire will go flat due to incompitent road workers! On the bright side I now feel incredibly butch, having just done with Nani and Amanda a job that would make many straight men blanch - we changed the fucking tire in the middle of the night on a fricking pick-up.
So while washing all the grime off myself afterwards I discovered that there really is a dent in my shin from the incident on friday the thirteenth.
Hey, at least we discovered that my spare tire is a real tire, not some piece of shit, and I was planning to go to Hilo this weekend anyway, so I know I can get it fixed or replaced this weekend.
