I was browsing around and eBay, looking at Pullips (oh Paja, how I lust after thee!), just piddling around...
I stumble upon a ChinaChina, who is very rare, and she is going for the unheard of amount of just USD$40! She has about 45 minutes left, approximately. When there's fifteen minutes left, and her price has only gone up by USD$1, I phone my Dad. I ask him if I can bid on her, 'cause she's uber-rare and I could resell her for a profit. He's like "Yeah, sure, just don't overboard." So I bid, and someone outbides me...
I attempt to make another bid, with 15 seconds on the clock, for USD$50 as my maximum bid. When I clicked "Confirm," the auction had already ended :(
I was so upset! Guess that teaches me a lesson about getting my hopes up ;3; Why isn't the lucky person ever me?!
Hopefully, maybe someday I'll find a deal like that for Paja, the girl I've been lusting after. Maybe Karma's just waiting to pay me back with the thing that I really want..? I really, really hope so.
