~And everyone applauded!!!
So get this, foomies: Pirates of the Caribbean is out in dollar theaters, right? Right. And since I'm just a fiend for playing dress-up, mum and I make plans to go to see the movie....dressed as pirates. Oh, but not alone, you silly ducks! No, no~ We got a VAST list of people to come with us, ALL dressed as pirates!
So there was fifteen people, right?
Yeah. Fifteen. And aside from two people, ALL of us went to the movies.
So, on the way there we do our ritual "WE LIKE THA MOOOOON" howls at anyone with an open car window (and the cops who were fucking up the football traffic). Then we get some weird looks from the ticket lady, get a great deal of praise from the chick who took out ticket stubs and then.....
Drumroll o kudasi....
One we walked into the roomthing, and as soon as everyone in there got a good look at us....
THEY ALL STARTED APPLAUDING US!!
Like, OMG! They were clapping for US! It was the coolest thing ever!! I wish I could replay that moment over again at least once, cause by the time I realized what they were doing, they had begun to settle down again. XD Clueless me, eh?
BUT AWWWW!! It made me all giddy! :D Here I was, thinking they were gonna think we were freaks...But they clapped! ^_________________^
So yeah. After the movie everyone came over to my house and we had a giant pirate's feast~ Mmm, stew. Mmm, pie. Mmm, cider. In goblets that made our drinks taste like metal, no less. :D
Some of us played DDR, and some of us scattered about and talked or gullied the neighbors. XP
It was great! That's the third costume get-together I've had in five months!
Maybe not much for most people, but for a recluse like me? DANG that's a lot!!
I sooooo had fun!
"A wedding? I LOVE weddings! Drinks all around!!"
