So, I am going to sleep over at Emily's tonight before I go on my vacation to Tehatchapi, California. Rascal is going over to our neighbor's house, and Reily (my beta fish) is going over to Emily's. I strongly believe that fish should be taken care of with kindness. All they ask for is a bit of water and food every once in a while. Well, I believe that fish should be given more room to strech their poor little fins and swim. As a human we take up a huge house, so I figure that the least I can do is provide my fish with a 3 gallon tank, clean water, a variety of food so he won't get bored with the same type over and over again, and a for me to talk to him. If I am going to have a fish my fish will have variety and have the space and tank to actually LIVE!
Poor Reily, he is in a small tank now... actually it is a large beta fish tank, but i see it as too small... anyways... he is moping around in it right now and looking sadly at his little bit of gravel in the tank and the plastic plant and lets his fins hang down. Usually he would be swimming everywhere going into his different houses.... it just makes me sad. at least it is only for one week, but he doesn't know why it is happening. : (
