(no subject)
Went to see Melanie and Grace in "City of Angels" at Pace University. I had heard mixed things about the production going in, but I really enjoyed it. The score is really jazzy MT and There were alot of funny one liners. Some of the performers didn't play the time period as well as the others and I could see how a worse production would make the show look shitty. The girls playing the two larger female parts are going to be stars.
It was my first time seeing Mel or Grace do a show. Grace's voice is getting stronger and I can't wait to see how much she grows through the program and Mel was great (duh).
After the show Todd, Mackenzie and I went down to TJ's and got drunk with all of the musical theater students. SSSOO many familiar faces were there (Maggie, Justin, Jaime, Gina, Emily..) it was such a fun night!!!
After, Mack and I crashed at Todd and Michaels and of course we were being silly all night/ morning. Getting 3 hours of sleep and coming in to work today at 9am wasn't fun at all :-P
