Sasha and I saw the opening preview of Bye Bye Birdie. SO much fun. Fantastic ensemble, great sets and costumes. I really enjoyed myself and am looking forward to seeing it again and the changes they make. I felt like John, Gina and Nolan were the weakest parts of the show which is sad them being the "draw in" for the box office. John and Nolan got better as the show went on. Gina...I was a big fan of hers coming in and was not a big fan leaving lol. All I will say about that.
Allie Trimm was a delight as always, Matt Doyle was so cute and funny. Bill Irwin and Jayne houdyshell gave my favorite performances of the night. Also, It was great to see Brynn in a bigger part than "black girl who belts". Good times.
