Somewhere in the Background Gackt is telling you to Stay the Ride Alive

Back from my Apartment hunting in VA. The Town of Culpeper is very nice looking it reminds me of Athens, OH. Some things that I will do next time I head down (as in the actual moving) are as follows:

- Be sure to leave earlier enough so that you arrive with light in the town: I left around 11:30am on Monday and arrived in town at 9:30pm in the dark checking directions can be a pain especially when...

- Don't drive the backroads! Even if Google says its shorter, in my case Virginia is Mountainous and the roads are twisty not good a night with fog and no lighted roads. I swear if I saw someone running around asking if I seen their wife or daughter with that much fog I am not staying when Pyramid Head pops up.

- Make sure you have legible directions. the hotel directions were small script compared to google's and they both used google map. I rectified this for the trip back.

- Try to divide the big trip over days so as to prevent driver's ass. Your thighs, elbows etc will thank you.

Now I need to do some moving prep and budget planning because I plan on heading down the 29th. I have to pay utilities and both apartment complexes didn't give definates. I will say this though. I am liking the one apartment's townhouses. lotsa breathing room.

More on the town. Culpeper is a crossroads of two avenues: Civil War sites and Wine. Yeah I'm pert near several vineyards. Infact during my drive back I saw one already bear due to winter's approach. Friends of mine who like wine please check the virginia lists and please be kind on my monetary concerns ;0
