Hold on dreamaway, you're my sweet charade...
I know it's been a while. Eh. I really have problems with wanting to update. Just not very much of a desire y'know? But since then I've had a great Thanksgiving Break. Didn't get a lick of Makeup done, but I had a great break!
I got to spend it working (even on Thanksgiving...but time and a half for 8 hours, I was willing to sit through it.) but I did go over to Meg's grandparents house for Thanksgiving dinner. I got to meet more of her family, and hehe, I really like them! We traded personal injury stories and talked about other such things. It was great! I'm glad I got to spend Thanksgiving with my dearest!
And let me just say that we had a great talk since I updated. It was about me and my schedule next semester. Meg's afraid she won't ever get to see me (which isn't true) and she's afraid that I'm going to meet someone else as a result. I told her that she really needed to trust me, that I wouldn't dare make such a move. That got me thinking - next to physical and emotional attraction, trust has got to be the most important factor in a relationship. If you can't trust that your significant other is going to be faithful to you, why have a serious relationship? That's why I'm glad Meg and I came to the conclusion we trusted each other. :-)
I also was able to go to my friend/co-worker Kevin's apartment and jam out some stuff with him. We pounded out a few of his own songs and he showed me all his recording equipment. I got to record vocals for one of his songs while I was there, so I could get a feeling behind a microphone. That was incredible...a rush.
I'll be so glad when this semester's over. I really could use a month of not driving back and forth to Denton. I've recently become terrified of most drivers on the road and so I think a bit of a break from all of that would be good for my health. On that note, I'm going to wait for Ray to get out of the shower then go to Statistics.
