05/22 Flood
06/28 completely redone lower level!!
The Husband & I worked our butts off to finally sift through the accumulations of 12 yrs; the stuff we bought, the stuff I inherited and the stuff Gary's Mom gave him. I finally sorted through my library and tossed anything the was wet, molded or smelled bad or that I had lost interest in. The book cases-gone, nasty carpet-gone, ancient cabinets-gone. It is beautiful. Nice new carpet, painted walls and nothing in it. Of course the garage is packed to the brim. I am going to buy a nice new couch and a new TV and some new bookcases and all just in time for the 4th of July sales.
For once, one of the items on the "to do" list actually got done! It only took a flood.
